Hello everybody!

Post by wildwindom »

Ya its been a while since I've been on the forum but still see some old names (Wabi and Boo) just to name a couple. As some of you knew my father ( GARY L ) im just now getting up to going thru some of his things. I got his old Point Blanc and was wondering if any of his old friends on here would like to purchase it as I have no need for it and have plenty of his other bows.

Good day sir~!

Again, my condolences to your fathers passing. I spent a lot of hours reading your dad's threads and learned a great deal from him.

Funny I was just going through some old pictures when I first started shooting Excals under RJ's tutoring and came upon a photo of another member that I remember and miss - Red Label.

I hope and trust all is well~!

Cheers,

If you are keeping the Hennegar stock on it, you should not have a problem finding it a new home.

Hey pydpiper and sandman I remember both of you very nice to see and talk to you guys again. Yes it still has the Hennegar stock on it that's where he had it that's where it will stay. Its getting easier as time pasts but still miss my father dearly. I was going back on old posts of his and laughing my butt off he sure was one of a kind. I haven't stepped a foot in the woods in two years as I just couldn't bring myself to hunt without him. But I went a couple weeks ago and hung a stand and put some feed out. Lots of good sign where im at, so hopefully I will put a big one down in his honor.

Well I'm glad to see you posting, and sad to hear that my good pal GaryL has passed. He was one of the originals and a true gentleman.

Life sometimes sucks. Cross that off, it always sucks somewhere down the line. But for the most part, it's pretty good.
Your dad leaving us was like someone snitching a milestone. You always expected him here on this forum and when he was gone, it took a bit to get used to not seeing him.
I hope you get back on your horse and start posting.
