Dang it! I had my heart set on a 330, and now this!
I'll wait until the bow is out for a while, then see what happens. Can't wait to hear the scoop on it when it's out. :D :D

How do we get Excalibur to start to anodizing the rails & riser in black?????

The drab grey does nothing for the camo stock & limbs.

I know its not a fashion show but it would be a huge improvement in looks!! :)

Guessing these are reduced LOP bows, geared around youth and smaller framed women or men.
Awesome either way.

My wheels are spinning now. I am picturing the nightmare stock and limbs on my 355 rail. Oh the possibilities are endless!!! ;)

Looks like I am ordering one!!!

Mike, rumor mills are a great tool for marketing hype. Start a rumor, feed it and watch it grow. Before long, the anticipation of the product will create a feeding frenzy. The product will fly off the shelves before reality sets in. Cha-ching.

Gotta love it.

Here's some more info:
mainstreet wrote:Here is the skinny on the new bows. They will be offered in 3 different camos, AP, Black And Mad Max. They will have a different scope lit reticle and will shoot a 16.5 in arrow called a Quill. Different riser than the matrix, one bolt. They come as a kit. They are suppose to retail for about the same price as the 355. Should ship by the 20th of month. I ordered the black and the Mad Max. Trigger techs will work. Dont have an exact on speeds. I would guess 330-350. Im not going to sell them but Dave and Danny sure will. I have bought another Restaurant and have no time. I know the first run will go quick so I would call Dave or Danny and get one ordered. I think they will be asome. Also different stock and limbs. I believe they will be 25 inches wide and shorter but dont know how much. I also think they are referring to the stock as skeletonized. Once again Im not selling bows I just got 2 for myself.

Call Dave or Danny.

This is cool!!
A few thoughts..
When I got my first excal (exomax) I fell in love .. it had everything I needed...but it was a bit wide and long  then I tried a phoenix and an exocet..same thing GREAT bows but my only vise was the width..
enter the Matrix. I can say it is much better in the treestand. it has more maneuverability and is more comfortable. No complaints.
But I have to say any width or length, or weight chopped off is a plus plus !!!
I can see these Micros flying off the shelves..

Strum, dont trust my picture for authenticity. It was sent to me by someone who typically knows more than average, usually..
What I noticed is the shape of the limbs. It does not seem to coincide with a typical Excalibur limb, nor their limb building process.
I still think this bow is designed and built with smaller framed folks in mind.
