The killing of albino's in Mi. was made legal again in 2009, paperwork wise 2008.
Those who disapprove need to shut the @%# up and worry about their own actions even when legal..
My congrats already went out.

It was legal and someone else would probably take it if he let it walk.

Probably most of the deleted responses were people (if you could call them that ) from Jersey. This was on the NJ Hunters Forum and the people there can be very brutal.

I'm happy for this young man!

If legal in ones location I think it's actually good to take the Albino animal. It will have a more difficult time avoiding predators and typically other genetic issues accompany albinism that are best removed the the genetic pool.

Where I would hesitate is if in the area there are people who traditionally revere the animal. While I might not share their beliefs, I have no wish to disrespect them or their beliefs.

I have seen hunters kill mother doe with fawns in toe, and button bucks, etc. It is not anyone's place to judge another hunter's trophy, if it is legal, it is "FAIR GAME"
I think the young man took a very respectable buck, and the bonus is that is a rare buck as well! Congrats for the rare harvest! :D
