Finally Closed the Deal

After two seasons, over a couple hundred hours in a deer stand, SEVERAL thousand miles on my truck, and five close encounters, I finally got to put my hands on this buck, and there was no ground shrinkage. He's a main frame 10 point with a gross scores of just over 170 inches, and he's the second largest buck I've ever killed and the largest with my crossbow. I was using my new Matrix 380 and hunting on my place in NW Oklahoma.

Nice symmetrical rack would expect very little deduction to be applied after shrinkage period for a great PY or BC score.
Hope he got to breed a few Does before his demise .
In my experience Big Deer tend to produce similar off spring .

The trick is to have patience to let them reach their potential .
