M380 strikes again

Post by Southern Comfort »

So last night I decided to sit for another evening hunt and at 4:30 two does walked into the picture. A 27 yard shot, breaking the front shoulder, and making a complete pass through the deer was recovered 160 yards from where I shot. Thanks to my sons 8 month pit bull who was able to pick up the trail when I had lost it. If you might be able to see in the photo the broadheads sliced the top of the heart and took out both lungs but still was able to cross a lot of real estate before it expired. But we still made the recovery.

Congrats on the recovery! Very cool that a pit bull helped out! It's amazing how far some deer go - gives a whole new meaning to "walking (running!) dead"!

Wait - I think I know what happened. I think you used the web address?

IN facebook you will need to right-click on the photo and choose "Copy URL" that will give you the correct code.
