Hot dang were hittin now. A few min's to 9am i see a nanny easen her way to me. I reach up & turn cam on & push the record button. I am on this deer, she is fiddle footen around stops keeps looin back. I knowed whats goin on fer sure a Buck is followin her. Sure as snuff here is comin, i switch to him. He is a decent shooter fer my place, he gets up to what i figure is 20 yds wid me bad left eye. I squeeze the trigger n it hits him qtr'in away jus a tad, blood pourin out of his brisket. He walks real slow n i am tryin to cok Banshee up in the southside hang-on stand. By now he has gotten out of sight of me. I lower my gera to the ground, walk over pull me arrow up out of the ground. Blades chewed up but arrow isn't broke. Blood all over a blind man can follow this trail. I call my Mrs. tell her let me pups loose. Only Gussy shows up, n away she goes n i an tryin to keep up wid her. She is 40 yds ahead n barkin n i see my Buck get up out of his bed. She is in between so i hold off on a shot. 200 yds later were goin down into the steep ravine behind our cabin blood every where. About 300 yds i catch up to him, Gussy is jumpin at him as he gets up the 2nd time i shoot him in the right shoulder. Down he goes grunten like crazy kickin hookin his head at any thing in the way. He lands on his back in my neighbors drive road. His alntlers all tangled in honeysuckle vines. He finally gives up the ghost! 12 pt, 10 main frame wid 2 sickers on eack back tine. Over 200 lbs, he is a good one fer here. 1st shot tookout his left lung the 2nd shot took out his right lung. He stinks badly dang maken me gag. Used 2 GT II arrows 1st BH 85gr Spitfire, 2nd arrow BH Toxic 100gr.

nice deer mike .hope to spend the day in the bush tomorrow before our week long shotgun season starts . i start a new job monday so will hold off on the shotgun other than afternoon hunts but the following week should be prime rut here and i have 7 days to make something happen
