A wife who hunts

Post by Normous »

I have been blessed married to my wife Patti who loves the outdoors, likes to hunt, never complains about the cold too much and is always there to help with getting deer out of the woods and into the freezer.

Back around 2000 I gave her he first Excalibur which she took too easily. Over the years she had many opportunities but often hesitated waiting for the best broadside shot that never came. A couple clean misses were also noted.

Sunday night she arrowed her first deer ever, a nice fat button buck at 15 yards broadside with her Blackout 380, she called him in with doe bleats. Huge and kisses were shared and a couple tears too, me too

I am very proud of my wife for spending so much time in the woods over the years, she is special. Congrats Patti!

....you are truly blessed there Norm....A big congrats to Patti for a well deserved, and waited for, buck....there is nothing like having common interests with your spouse...

....now if you could bottle that secret I would imagine it would make you a multi millionaire...also you would single handedly be responsible for a 50% reduction in the divorce rate in this world....

All the best to both of you,

Anthony :)

BIG HUGS and GIANT
Image
to Patti on her deer!!!!

Norm - I got goosebumps and teary-eyed reading your post. I'm so very very happy for Patti! All the hard work and waiting paid off. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Patti. It takes a true hunter to wait for just the right opportunity and not settle for "close enough". Please pass along a big ol' Moni-sized hug to her!

And thanks for sharing your joy here on the forum!
