Shelby's first Xbow doe

My daughter(Shelby) finally sealed the deal on doe last night. She had been on me this past week to take her every chance we had. We sat 2 different stands on multiple occasions but last night she finally got it done. This smaller doe fed for 20 minutes when she told me she was steady and was ready to take the shot. She made a perfect 27 yard shot that broke both shoulders and planted her right in her tracks. Additionally, i would like to thank many forum members as i took their advice and purchased the 18" B.E Zombies with 92 gr. brass inserts, blazer vanes, plastic nocks, and 100 gr. slick trick mags and WOW are tack drivers. I am consistently grouping under a 1/2" at 40 yards and was responsible for this memory with my daughter.

Congrats!!! on your first crossbow harvest..I know dad must sure be proud. And the shot was on the mark.. Good to see the hunting tradition being passed along.. I have a feelin there is more to come young lady... good luck to ya...........bubba......
