What to Sell?
I bought a Matrix 380 in the spring and kept my Exomax as a back up, but now I'm wanting a Micro 335 really bad. I can only shoot one at the time, and I hate to keep two "back ups". Which "one" should I sell?
Re: What to Sell?
Sell Max, keep the 380.

X2!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Sell the wife ! .. Keep the 380 and the new bow in your truck .. And let the Max retire and sleep next to you at nights in her old spot.

Re: What to Sell?
I would sell the Exomax.
I have an Ibex that I'm going to sell to buy the Micro.

If you have seen what the Exo series bows are bringing on the used market, you might as well keep it. The Exomax and Equinox that were the "Flagship" bows of just a couple of years ago are REAL bargains lately. just a thought.

This is why I asked the question. I hate to just basically give away my Exomax.flightattendant100 wrote:If you have seen what the Exo series bows are bringing on the used market, you might as well keep it. So true what flightattendant said but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet, it is not going to get any better, what do you want / need.retrieverman wrote:This is why I asked the question. Re: What to Sell?
Shame about the Exomax not being worth as much. I bought a used one this year, and it shoots great. My first day with it I split a bolt ( i understand it's called "pulling a Robin Hood"). I'm using Easton bolts 2219 with 150 grain bolt cutters. I no longer shoot twice at the same spot. My friend shot a dear with it, passed right through and was buried in the ground save for about 3 inches. It is a bit bigger than the Matrix series, but I've not been in a stand that I did not have ample room to work this bow. My friend has the Matrix 380 and it is a beauty. He said that the Exomax would last a life time and take down anything in North America.
I bought the bow, excalibur case, 6 bolts, field points, bolt cutters, wax, cocking device, restringing aid, extra bow string, varizone scope all for $700 Canadian dollars.
I am very pleased with this bow. Now I just need that big buck to show himself again.

Re: What to Sell?
Keep the ExoMax is my vote.
The long limb bows have a well deserved reputation for being bullet proof.
It will be years before the M380 shows its true colours.
If your main objective is to have a dependable backup then the Exomax will have your back.
No matter what you decide be prepared to take a loss .
The Matrix most likely less so and because of all the hype at the moment may sell guickly. Hence the funds to cover the cost of a Micro 335 dollar for dollar.
Think of it as trade in or up for a newer model. Just like buying a new car
Which you never know may be an option your bowshop owner may consider as a fair trade.

Re: What to Sell?
Thanks for all the replies. Here's the deal. I don't "have" to sell a crossbow to buy a crossbow, but it does seem silly to have three.
I think I'm going to buy the Micro and then decide what to do with the other two.
