The New 380 Mad Max Joins The Stable

Post by wildcatter »

I just got this tonight and got it up and ready for a trip to Southern Ohio Saturday nigh. It took 3 shots to get zeroed at 30 yards and the next 3 arrows were centered in the 3/4" bull, so I will hit the tree for a couple quick hours in the morning, and come home and finish getting the scope set for 40 and 50 yard aiming points.

The web site sure doesn't give a very good picture of what the bow in this camo pattern looks like, so am put'n a little eye candy up for all to get a better idea what it really looks like!!

I am very happy with this pattern and it will serve great on the ground with natural settings in swamps and thickets as well as trees, then in the snow I will break out the Lynx, these 380's are sweet. I would have bought the Micro instead but the Max-1 pattern mad the Micro purchase wait till the ATA show is over,,,, I hope it comes out in M.O. Treestand pattern by then?????? I also hope I find out what the surprise will be for the 2 holes in the butt stock by then???

Thanks for all the comments and approval with the hunting wishes. But it didn't quite go as planned, had 6 of the 7 days in the teens and single digits with 5" of snow on the ground. Winds for 4 days were gusting 25 to 35 mph and we held low in the creek bottoms. The week long hunt gave the Lynx the most work but sure was nice and a great time, hunted all but one morning, and spent most of that looking for deer movement. It was a REFRESHING hunt!! Maybe I will have a chance to bleed the Mad Max this week as back north now and no snow and warm weather till Thanksgiving.

Hope to get some picks with blood on one of those pink and white fletched Z.s,,,
