Did a Euro mount of my wife's buck. She wanted a dipped skull so decided to try this. Basically a fake skull that you screw the antlers to. Turned out pretty well and she liked it. Only took about 20 minutes to do.
I have a set that I need to mount to a skull kit that I had dipped a while ago. It's just a little forky I shot a few years ago but I need to finish this project!
Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

apparently he plastic skull euro mounts are gaining popularity, even with the professional taxidermists; skull cleaning methods are losing favor. I guess colonies of beetles are hard to raise and keep, the boiling method is to time consuming and messy.....and just leaving the skulls to nature can also be time consuming, imprecise, and maybe a bit creepy.....

Yes. I have a couple of Euro mounts that I boiled myself. The one has stayed fairly white, but the other has yellowed out alot. The plastic is very simple and quick.
Never seen anything like that....But it's real ....differently cool...........
