Not going to speculate, as it ain't gonna ever happen. I have a simple philosophy: save the $ and pass it on to the kids when I'm gone so they can buy crossbows; OR buy crossbows now and pass them on to the kids. I'm thinking the latter wins.

Talltines wrote:405 without question. It's also a lot of fun to just shoot it. When I am off from work I go into my garage to just shoot it. I enjoy it that much. Heck even after work I load it up and take a shot.

Love the darn thing.

Heck...here in Fair Lawn...I have a police officer living next to me....an air marshall living across the street...and lets just say a not so happy woman living net to me....you would read about me on National News if I shot my M380 from the deck into the shed....

The 380 for just hunting, the Micro would be good but for everything including wide open spaces, the 380 I know I can enjoy practice with, even if I would have to put the accudraw on it,,, might consider the 405, but would be doing very little shooting besides hunting!!!!

Phoenix. It's what I have (actually two of them) and what I use and what I've knocked 4 out of 4 deer down with the past couple of years. All shots less than 20 yards. First step after shooting deer, retrieve arrow from earth after the "through and through" shot. 2nd step, walk 40 to 60 yards and put tag on dead deer. Very consistent. Very predictable. Very reliable.

Sad isn't it.
100 yd range about 50 yds from back door.

Also back yard here in Arkansas. 63 degrees today. Arkansas has some great back yards. All our meat and fish come from our back yard. Each area of the country has pluses and minuses. If a person passionately deer hunts and likes to fly fish, my back yard and pond as well as much of Arkansas have a lot to offer. I don't take my blessings for granted.
This is also my back yard. Kill the deer, gut it, and still make it to Church on time. Another advantage of a nice, big, back yard! Incidentally, that's a self assembled smokeless powder 45 cal muzzleloader.

The M380 and M405 have essentially eliminated all other hunting for me.
Great Buck Steve. I have a front/side shootin range, 75 yds. I love having a shootin range i can jus walk outside to.
