OT-What NJ is Known For

Post by amythntr »

...not only do many of us have to drive 50-70 miles and more to hunt in glorious state of New Jersey....but we have to deal with the following which was just on Yahoo:

New Jersey: Worst for speeding tickets

New Jersey has a speed trap every 30 miles, the most in the nation, and it collects $30,000 per mile in road user fees. But the real kicker: if you get caught doing even 10 mph over the limit, your fine can be doubled for “racing.” Turns out the real Jersey Turnpike is even more offensive than Deena’s dance on “Jersey Shore”.

Rural Arkansas (Steve-SEW) is starting to sound better and better....

Don't believe everything you read. Most if not ALL officers that patrol the NJ highways allow you about 13 mph OVER the posted speed limit( this is on the big roads). Its the knuckleheads that weave in and out of traffic or like to stay in the left lane that get the booby prize.....

The only reason for the Yankee part is that North Jersey is a weird growth coming off of New York! LOL

I drove my camper RV thru 13 states including NJ turnpike. Ohio had more speed traps and highway police than ALL OTHER STATES COMBINED!
just another source of income for the overtaxed liberal Yankee states...
