C2 on a Micro-a little help please.

Post by backnwhack »

I have a recently acquired C2 which I was going to use on my Micro for longer shooting sessions. When I place the C2 on the bow, it will not go down far enough for the bolt/peg to go into the hole on the back of the stock. It is off by about half the width of the peg. I have looked for any obstructions, etc but the unit itself seems to be too small of the stock too thick. Any ideas?

Call Danny Miller and ask the guru. He'll be able to tell you exactly what to do.

Good to know i am not alone, mine did the exact same thing.I had to have it working (peak rut) so I took a rat tail file and slowly took enough material away til it would work. I also had a problem with the latch screw being to deep and it was gouging my stock when I slid the c2 into position, that was more of a pain to file down because it was so recessed. In the end it works great, but something is not right with them when it comes to the micros.

OK, all good info, thanks.
I also filed down the screw that was hitting the stock, and I was contemplating "moving" the hole in the stock upward to allow the peg to go in, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. This definitely is the new C2 and it just does not fit very well on the Micro. Good news is this is the only "fly in the ointment", the Micro seems solid and maybe is the least picky about arrows of any bow I have had.
