hunter killed

a long time hunter and guide from this area was killed in africa on
saturday by a cape buffalo. they weren't hunting buffalo a believe
they were hunting diku (excuse spelling) but they came upon the buf
by accident it charged and he was killed details are still a bit sketchy

There is a post on the accurate reloading forum about the incident. They were hunting Kudu in Masailand, and experienced an unprovoked charge from a cape buffalo. One of the hunters got a shot off at the buff, but it gored the hunter fatally wounding him. His name is Bob Fontana from British Columbia. My condolences to his family, and to all who knew him. From the number of replies to the post on accuratereloading.com, it appears that he was well known and well liked.

we weren't close friends but i've known him all my life he was a very
good guide with a very high success rate he was a champion of hunters
rights,exellent public speaker and will be missed

I guess they weren't kidding when they named those things, "Black Death".
