matrix 330 or micro 335

Post by Okostis »

After long nights of research I have come to a conclusion of which crossbow to buy. Well so I thought I did. My choice was going to be an Excalibur Matrix 330 ($769 here in Toronto) then I came across the Excalibur Micro 335 on sale for $796 (original $900, again here in Toronto). Any thoughts or suggestions on which one to buy will be a great help, thanks.

Depending on your physical condition, I'd go with the micro hands down. It is however, more difficult to cock so if you've got any sort of back, neck or shoulder issues go with the Matrix 330. The Micro 335 comes equipped with cheek piece, REDS and the ADF which you would need to buy separately if you wanted them on the Matrix 330.

X2 micro is a sweet bow if you can handle the draw or add a crank.

Buy the Micro now. If it is too much bow for you........you can sell it/trade it easy. I have a Matrix 330 I'll swap you for straight across the board lol (it has REDS, ADF and TacZone).

I already had a Matrix 380 when I bought my Micro, but if I had to just choose one, I'd take the Micro for size (or lack there of) any day.

If that is the price for the complete package in Canadian dollars that is amazing.
If you have disc/back problems the micro can be a problem. I am 61 and I don't find it hard to cock, BUT if I don't use good form It will aggravate my sciatica.
Good form is a must.

Either one will do the job, but the Micro is the best one in my opinion for hunting in a blind, or treestand. That is a good price, go Micro!
