40 yards, free hand!

Post by xcaliber »

Put together some more LP vaned Zombies, and shot some 40 yard free hand shots into the garage to check them out. They are 11 grains heavier than my first batch due to the aluminum rear nocks. My neighbor likes to egg me on, and called me names I won't repeat because I would not shoot the same hole 4 times. After 3, I got a little worried, and he won!  I got some input from some fellow members on the direction i went with these, and just want to say thanks, you guys are true pioneers! I will use these for hunting with the Micro. I must say, that model is very accurate, as all the Excals. are, but holding on target is very easy, and the balance makes it just a dream to shoot free hand! It is my favorite hunting bow. :D :D Second photo shows where number 4 went! Guess you are what you eat!

....It had to be from SD    ...So I guess LP Vanes= "low profile"....So Dan, are you saying it is the LP vanes on the Zombies?

...what is the balance of the equation in terms of length, insert, BH or FT, weight?

...Who makes the LPV's?

That's some nice shooting Dan. Can you use the AAE vanes in the Arizona EZ Fletch Bolt?

I no longer have the Bolt! I don't see any reason that would prevent you from using the tool though. The base is a little narrower than a Blazer vane, and the length is 2", should work!
