chrony light kits

Post by strum »

I just received a chrony for a great forum member and im looking at being able to use it inside.
I see they have a new LED light kit for the shooting chronys but the price is up there.
been looking at youtube videos with folks using LED Pucks.. looks like the way to go .
anyone tried these? or I guess a better question is, what yall been doing for indoor lighting with your chronys?

Anything LED that will help you shoot chrony's is not advisable at this time.

Do you have a tag for that species?

Seriously? I believe John Carnell uses them.

I just got the new LED light kit from Lancaster Archery for $67.99 and I believe in the US they have free shipping to the lower 48. They work excellent, East Hill Outdoors uses the same LED kit on their Pro Chrony as well.

I've got the led lights and tried using them mounted under the hood of my ProChrono. I used magnets to attach them as seen in some YouTube videos. Didn't work for me. Outside or the actual light kit is best.

I set my rig up in my basement tonight..i have about 17 yards I can shoot..
backed up against my garage door, past the wood heater ,over the table saw, through two open doors , into a closet where the target is in front of a 10" solid concrete wall.. :D
I still got to come up with some lights to make this work but im digging on the LED puck lights.. I have one LED utility light that I think will do the job ..I just need one more..if I can make this work ill post some pics in a day er two with my results.and you can bet ill have a shield of some sort in front this time
