Texas Fest 2015

Post by awshucks »

Hey! You can't get there w/o here. I need a ride to TF in March, AKA BooSouth.

I'm in or near Mena, Ar. Haven't talked w/ Danny Miller [Sardis, Oh].

Sooo, who can pick us both up? I'll dial Danny in...............

Texfest..This is the first year. At my wifes family place, on Eagle Mountain Lake, just north of Azle Tx. March 14-15 2015. There will be a place to camp, some targets to shoot at, and some folks to meet and get to know.Would love to have you and any other forum members that would like to attend. Its really nice to get to meet folks on the forum and put a face to the name etc.
I will post some more about this with some details,a little later. I have been to Boofest and seen how well Don and Karin have things set up and how smoothly things run. Its a goal....but please dont hold me to that standard at the first Texfest. It will be a work in progress, and I'll learn and improve in the future.
With that said, I think we can have a great time, shoot some crossbows, and make some friends.

How is Tex Fest going?
Where do we sign up?
What is the cost?
I read the first invite, but had no interest around here, now I have generated some interest and need more info.

Hunting season is over as of now! ( Colton got a doe this morning).I am going to shift energys to TEXFEST. There is no cost, I guess there is no sign up, but will need a rough head count before it takes place for the Port-a-john situation. Come on down!
I will post in the next day or so some more details.

Nice shot Colton!!
I wished that I could go to Texas Fest and I tried to get the time off but the higher Senior folks at the office secured their March Break first.

I'm exactly 100 mi north of Tx.......Gotta find a ride, 'fraid my truck won't make it, lol.

Just talked w/ Danny, to early for him yet, but he did say he'd like to make it. We all three rode together to Boofest once.
