Hi All! New to the Forum and Excalibur!

Post by Deep In Cover »

I am expecting my new 335 Matrix to come in tomorrow I just wanted to know if I should put locktite (red) on all the fasteners before putting the bow together? Thanks in advance! I am all new to crossbows as I am from NJ and they just a few years ago recently allowed us to use them for hunting. :D

First off, welcome, do not use red, use blue 242, it is removable. It is a good idea to do the fasteners on the scope mount especially.

Great bow, good luck!! 8)

WOW!!! You guys are quick! I coulden't remember if Red or Blue was the permanent locktite I will use the blue. I figured I would do myself a favor and just get the best bow right off the bat instead of getting something I really didn't like and having to throw it away in a year or two. I am anxious to get the 335 I have been reviewing my like and dislikes of many different bows going on about a month or so and finally decided on the 335 Matrix. I hope to get some practice and head out pig/boar hunting in about one/two months and then maybe even spring turkey hunting and then for deer. I am SIKED!!! Thanks for all the replys! :D
