WILD HOG/BOAR HUNTING? In FL

Post by Deep In Cover »

I and one of my employees are looking to go down to Florida in Feb with my new Micro 335 and my Rem VTR15 (223) my question is does anyone on here have a outfitter or lodge that you hunt at or recommend a outfitter/lodge to hunt with? I would like to go 3-5 days. I have found a few in the St.cloud area and some a little further south and also some in the lake Oka area but I do not want to make arrangements on a whim without at least a couple ref/recommendations. Thanks in advance :D

Osceola Outfitters is one of the best known in Florida. They do hogs, Turkey and gators. Well known and should have lots of references if they have openings, they book up each year.

Very reasonable, turn key, the guides seem to always be hospitable, and you will have multiple opportunities per hunt. I would stay at one of the places in Cedar Key. You might be able to get in a fishing trip for reds and trout in same trip.
