This turkey loves my mail truck!

Post by Riflemanz »

I'm driving my mail truck and as soon as these turkeys saw it they came running to it.
Don't know why but I wish I had my 355 along!

Your truck must look like the bird seed delivery van :)

There was one a few years ago in our neighborhood that had the garbage man scared so he could not get back into his truck. Would also follow people that walked in the neighborhood.
One day I was in my truck and looked out the window before I pulled back out of the driveway and there was a trukey right next to the door, I could have rolled down the window and smacked it on the head. It followed me down the road a hundred yards or so before it stopped.
Some of these birds are just goofy and are too acclimated to humans since a few people in the neighborhood put corn out for them.

That's hilarious! I'd end up naming them Bob & Susie and buying feed and they'd die of old age at my house. Thank goodness deer run away or I'd have too many pets.

Hey, we have less snow on the ground in central Alberta than you have in Wisconsin. It's been in the 40's 50's and 60's for more than 2 weeks now. Lots of time left for -35 to happen though

From the looks of their tail feathers they look like they have been pinned up and got loose and are looking for food. Open the door and take them on your deleveries

That's funny ! ...mWeird , I've seen them do the same to farm tractors / lawn tractors and other vehicles > Never been able to explain that behaviour ?

Why need crossbow? Gas pedal no work? I'd step on the gas and use a spare mail bag.
