which one do I want

Post by dtoggs »

:?: I have always been a .22rifle hunter,I now want to try crossbows. I want to hunt rabbits(sitting),gray squirrels, maybe a starling etc. I will shoot only about 25-30yds. I think I will need a crank cocking device, and I want a double set trigger. Pls advise. Do I have to build one my self,or is one availabe over the counter. Where is least expensive place to order? Thanks,Paul :P

sounds like all you need is point blanc other than a set trigger and i don't
see the need for one. as far as price there is a guy that monitors this
forum that might be worth contacting I believe he goes by bj and
there is always lebaron

The Point Blanc is mainly a target bow of 90 lbs. the Vixen is a 150lb hunting xbow that can be used for targets. All Excaliburs have the same great triggers in the 3lb pull range. Look at products for more info.

Excaliburs have exceptional triggers! Set triggers sound sexy on fine European rifles, but have little to no use on a good crossbow. Remember, the trigger holds all the weight of the bow...that's 225 lbs of pressure on the Exomax.
