I am thinking of buying a stabilizer for my Exocet.
I am trying to picture what my Exocet would look like with a stabilizer
mounted on it. Would someone who has a stabilizer on their Excalibur
crossbow post a picture of it so I can see how and where the stabilizer is mounted Thanks.
That is a awesome looking set up you have. I bet it shoots sweet.
Would I still be able to use my Excalibur factory quiver mounting bracket
if I chose to get this same type of stabilizer setup Looks like the stabilizer mount attaches using the same holes that the quiver bracket does. Thanks again and take care.
Tman the stabilizer bolts to the quiver bracket on your xbow, I have a qiver bracket that mounts over the prodas below. Its by Dan Miller for less than $8. US

Correct me if I am wrong. The stabilizer mounting bracket will mount on
top of the Excalibur factory quiver bracket using the same two holes.
Is there a chance the string will hit the mount made by Dan Miller. If not
how would one go about purchasing his mount if I am unable to use the
Excalibur mount I already have?

The xbow string will not hit the quiver mount as it mounts opposite side of the xbow level which also sits higher than string travel. Stabilizer mount uses the the holes for excal. quiver. Dan's mount is opposite side of the level on the riser Works really good. Hope that clears it up for you.
What's the purpose of the stabilizer? My Excal X-bow is plenty heavy enough in the front end to balance out. I'm not trying to be smart elect by any means but I though Bill T's design was really good.
If what you guys where doing was a prefered method or necessary I'm sure Excal would be making it a standard thing. What's with this? Just wanna know? It looks rather combersome and useless, but I don't understand its advantages either. Are you guys some kind of engineers?
Excalibur makes stabilizer mount accessery that I have on my Paradox. Stabilizers reduces down the shock of the string stopping at the end of the power stroke and increasing the accuracy and consistancey of the Excal. even more.
