Matrix 310/330 & Grizzly/Cub

Post by canoe13 »

I was perusing the specs. on the Matrix 310 compared to the new Grizzly and I found something I thought odd. The power stroke is an inch longer on the Grizzly compared to the 310 but it is slower. Actually the Grizzly's power stroke is longer than the 330 but is 25 fps slower? How can this be? I know the 310 and 330 power strokes are different due to the riser angle ; swept back(310) or forward(330). I figure the Griz riser is swept forward because the Cub has the same stroke length but slower( with a swept back riser?). Are they using weaker limbs in the SMF models or am I missing something else.
