reflex sight
I want to try a reflex sight on my Micro. I figure such a small bow should have a like size optic so I am looking for suggestions on brands or models to check out.

Re: reflex sight
Not sure of any good small reflex sights that have a crossbow reticle .Or do you want a single dot ? i really like my EoTech 512 crossbow sight . It is not very small but it dose not extend past the front of the scope base .

Really like my Eotech 512.
It's just the plain jane ,not the crossbow type.

Re: reflex sight
Aimpoint is what I would try.
I tried a Burris Fast Fire II and hated it. Can't see at dawn and dusk

Re: reflex sight
Until you reach the $ long dollars they are all about the same. Not crisp & with halo around the dot or light streaks. Now if'en yer jus wantin it to shoot 35 yds less n have good eye sight let yer pocket book do the walkin fer you
Re: reflex sight
So at what price point do the sights get good? I want decent optics but I'm not rolling in dough. Is there anything out there under $200 worth a look?

Re: reflex sight
as far as optics go I found the big difference starts at about the 500$ mark .I wanted one good optic and ended up spending over 500$ ,by a fair bit but I found a scope I liked ,that is what matters to me .I am going to us this optic for several things it will be on my turkey gun as well as my slug gun so as these seasons are so far apart and I just have to change the barrel it works ,I would find a sight that you like then look for a deal on that optic ,that is how I got mine for way less then dealer price ,go toas many dealers as you can and check out as many optics as you can ,when you find something you like start the search for this optic at a price you want to pay ,Dutch

I can't recommend this sight yet because I don't have one yet, but this certainly looks interesting! https://seeallopensight.com/ No battery required, no parallax error, super small and super light. I will have one soon and post thoughts when I do.

And oh yeah, I forgot to mention... you can pick one up from Wyvern for slightly less than $100 I think.

I would try it out on a shotgun. Not going to consider a one point aiming system for my crossbows though.Ekkie wrote:I can't recommend this sight yet because I don't have one yet, but this certainly looks interesting! https://seeallopensight.com/ No battery required, no parallax error, super small and super light. Heard it works well with an Optimizer.

Re: reflex sight
Could be but I don't care for the optomizer either. That's just me, never had one.....just don't believe I need or want one. For long range, 70+ yards, they sound like a great tool. Since I don't plan to shoot long range the optomizer isn't something I'm looking for. A BDC reticle that stretches to 60 or 70 yards is ideal for me.robertyb wrote:ehntr wrote:I would try it out on a shotgun.
