Toy Shed I-beam-Updated Pics

Post by UPSMAN »

The big a$$ I-beam is now in place and awaiting floor joists. Almost time to start loading tree stands and all my other hunting crap in the upper level.

Aging, the beam is a W16x36. 36 lbs per foot x 35 =1260 lbs. We had a few butt puckering moments trying to lift it in place. All went well but there was a lot that could have gone wrong.

Bubba, Going to wait a couple of years and decide if I want an RV. If I decide against it, I'm going to build myself a "Man Cave". :D :D

AHHHHHHH, now the world looks right. I see wood. Being wood person I would have gone with floor trusses. Both will work just fine. Cool project. You the man. :D
