I don't know if they'd hold on to just one of the larger models but seems like there will always be a market for the 150 lb pull. I bought an Axiom over Christmas and probably would have waited for the Griz if I knew it was coming out but I don't regret buying it. Personally I think they could keep the Vixen II and maybe offer an SMF (cheaper) version of the Vix and drop the Axiom/Ibex. Who knows but I just think there will always be enough of a market for the lighter draw to keep it around.

All they have to do is shorten the frame of the Grizzly to have a 150lb. bow and then give it new name.

Yeah but it wouldn't have the same level of performance as the Vixen at 150. It would mean introducing a bow with lower performance than what has been the minimum hunting bow they offer.

The 190lb cub shoots 285fps same as a vixenII . a 150lb matrix bow would be very slow . The cub is probably as low a draw weight as a matrix bow will get .

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. And the cub has a 190 lb draw weight, 40 lbs more than the Vixen II. I just wondered if there was enough of a market for the lower draw weights to keep the Vix around. I can kind of see dropping the Axiom (although I like mine) but 40 lbs is a big difference.

I would be willing to bet that the Cub is easier to cock than the Vixen even though it is higher poundage, I am basing this on me cocking my Vortex and my Matrix 330. The 330 is 20 lbs. heavier but is easier to cock because of the shorter draw length.
