O/T humming bird pic's

Post by R.J. »

While on vacation last week I managed to get some real nice shots of humming birds at a feeder in PEI .

Man I put alot of time on stand ( standing in the bushes approx 8 feet away ) to catch and focus these shots the birds move so quick ! I couldn't get them on auto focus .... had to manual focus in the general area and snap away when they came in ..... approx 20 shots to get these 6 keepers !

RJ: We have 4 feeders scattere around our wrap around porch. We have 40-50 hummingbirds who spend the summer with us. I am now up to adding a Quart of sugar water to the 4 feeders every day. By the time they start their migration to South America, they look like pool balls. Striper

exomag to the rescue

Post by Deadeye »

I wonder what my exomag would do to that little beast!

Well it's 2213's with 100 Gr SST Wasp Hammers hitting 331 fps. Thinki it would string jump?

My bet is that it wouldn't go more than 2 inches before expiring...any commets?

Deadeye,

I'm sure you THE VERY ONLY guy on this forum that thought of shooting hummingbirds with your Exomag.
