I am very happy with the 2 I have now and hoping Excalibur does not introduce any more new bows for a while... LOL

I am not a rookie but I only have 1, my orginal Relayer which I have owned and used since the mid 80's (when I got it new). I still believe it is their best bow. I have shot just about every model they have produced except the heaviest models.

Big John you did bring back some great feelings when you mentioned GaryL & Digger. This site surely misses them as much as I do (as well as a few others). Gary & Digger would probably be at or near the top of this list.

Sadly, yes they have passed away. There have been a few long time members which have gone onto greater places. GaryL always wanted the next bow, I think he was trying to out do BillT. LOL he even offered me money plus my choice of Excalibur bow for my Relayer. Digger was very knowledgable and had a bigger heart then anyone else on the forum. He was the first person I had ever heard of, to remove the limb assembly for travel (in standard gun case) without the need to site-in again after assembly.

Yes there is many of us getting older, but it is great to see so many, eager younger members, willing and wanting to learn. This transfer of knowledge is what will help seceed crossbows.
