Pulled the Big Trigger last night

Post by No One »

I went with Crossbow Experts and bought the Mega 405. I got the air brakes installed for no extra, 6 pack of arrow, and extra string. I also got 5% off my order. The grand total 1404 ouch. :D

Congrats on the weight loss!
You'll be happy, and forget the price real fast after zinging some bolts, and filling tags!
Enjoy.

Congratulations on your new bow! I think you're going to love it. Once you start shooting it and get over the shellshock of the price you'll be all set.

I have a M405 also and agree with your choice. Also have air brakes: good choice. Stringer? You'll have to have it. Zombies, not Executioners. Neither Executioners not GT L-3 Pros shoot well out of my 405 but do well out of my 380.
C-2 cocker? If you're not really strong and have a great back, the C-2 will be very important to you. Generally, the new 405s have very acceptable triggers.
Enjoy your new purchase.

You'll love the 405. But $1400 seems like a high price to pay. Being that you're in Ohio, you should call Danny Miller next time, he's in Sardis, OH. I'm pretty sure he'd beat that price.

yea maybe not the best choice but I do get 5% off all future purchase for life. Why do the Bee not work well in the 405? :( The bow was cost 1234.00 it was the rest of the stuff that adds up to the rest of the cost.

I haven't shot at the longer ranges SEW has. Maybe the BEE's flex abit more n not keep a real tight group at a 100 yds. I am more of a min of tick toter man, meanin if'en i can hit a coffee cup its good enuff fer me :)

I suggest the stiffer spine BE Zombies over the BEE out of the M405 given the choice.

Like Normous and Sew said, The stiffest strongest arrow, for the strongest baddest bow Zombies all the way. Good luck....
