i got a little feedback today that some may like

I got the hooks back this morning. I think you better lock your design up so nobody else steals it. I installed a set on the Excal Crank-A-ROO and cocked and de-cocked the Matrix 380 several times and they work great. It didn't scratch the rail like the original Excal hooks did. I was able to loosen the one that was kinda stiff with some gun oil and used a little bluing on the nicked up one after I rubbed the burr off. The original Excal hooks always would hit the scope mount screws and take off the bluing on the screws and mark up the hook. Maybe that's another reason they did away with them. Yours work perfect and clear the screws.

I'm gonna give the other set to a friend of mine. When you get caught up on your work send me another set or I can maybe even send you the pins and pulleys. Then I'll use them on the rope cocker for a backup set.

there was talk of early Excalibur hooks being metal. does anyone have a pic? i saw some old Horton rope cockers on ebay that looked interesting and ordered them. turned out to be metal.

if you go back to the first pic in this thread i posted 5 hooks the one in the middel is the old excak. theres also a tag where gary says he finds they work better than the original ones

also im running a little slow today and need some rest.i picked my daughter up at university yesterday after writing her last exam.picked up all her stuff and pulled out of thunderbay at 3 yesterday afternoon. it took me 18 hours none stop to get home we had some snow last night and 400 and 401 where closed down due to a fatality its going to take me 3 days to recover .i drove up there monday morning on 2 hours sleep but only took 15.5 hours .and a ticket to the policemens ball
