Lighted Nocks

Post by jody5252 »

Is there any certain brand/type of lighted nocks, that should be used with excel bows? I was thinking about trying the Nocturnal nocks. Has anyone tried these? I use Easton magnums, 2219's Thanks, J.

Don't waste your time and $$$ on the nocturnals. I used them and they don't compare to Lumenocks. They are a "one size fits none" and difficult to turn off. They are not as bright and to my knowledge, the batteries cannot be replaced in them.

Nufletch ignitors. Tried them all and these are the most reliable and easiest to use out there. They weigh a bit more because of the insert but it doesn't affect accuracy at all at hunting ranges.

I've been using lumenoks for the last 4 years with no problems. I shoot them even when practicing and won't hunt without them. It's hard for me to see little splinters flying at warp speed!

Lancaster Archery has lighted nocks for 2219's on special for $2.99. I can't comment on the quality of these as I have never used them.
