Best bh for turkeys

Bullhead from magnus the smaller cut 100grain head fly's good. For neck shots. I personally will never shoot a turkey in the body again. I found some of the ones I shot quick; however, I had to many birds walk off and died that I never found. Bullheads if you miss you don't have a wounded bird and if you hit no tracking involved.

How can you go wrong with a broadhead like the bullhead!!

You can't go wrong with the spitfire...spitfire maxx may be even better.
or the wasp jackhammers.

I'll have jackhammer 125's on the end of my bolts this season.

This is the exact reason I tell people to use an arrow arrestor on their arrow. It is better that you do NOT GET A PASS THROUGH on a turkey. A turkey will have extreme dificulty walking or flying with an arrow still in it's body. Plus, the full KE from the arrow will be felt by the turkey. I have had a turkey pushed sideways over 2 meters by the arrow.

Back to the orginal question. Accuracy is of great importance. Use a head which you are comfortable with and have confidance in. I use a spitfire and have only lost one bird and that was because a yote got it before I got there (just over the hill), all I got was feathers (long trail) and the arrow back with no head.

Taking a head shot is difficult as a turkeys head is always moving and bobbing. I have watched a video of a 4" turkey head in action (from manufacture's site) and it showed the head "bounce" off the neck and the turkey run away.

No head is perfect. The actual kill zone is really small.
