BE Zombie Slayers = Micro perfection!

Post by DuckHunt »

Once the shaft mix up was resolved I built up my arrows exactly as I wanted.
16" Black Eagle Zombie Slayers, 80gr brass inserts, 8gr flat nock and florescent red blazers. The total payload is a smidgen over 353 grains across the whole set with 100gr points installed. Later I'll add 20 grains when the Lumenok sits in back.

The accuracy? Wow! Now my Micro shoots like my ExoMax. From a rest, I can literally hit postage stamps at 20 yards. I noticed that I could see the bright red fletching and red nock in my scope as they race to dead center.

There was a little wind, so my testing at 50 yards was a bit limited. But even then I was just missing the 1" circle I was aiming for. I'll take that all day.

I'm impressed.

I'm jealous. I have zombie slayers also. Haven't had a chance to shoot them yet. Hopefully this weekend. You got me excited can't wait to shoot them.

Without. I'm sure the mechanicals that I normally use will fly like the field tips, but now you have peaked my curiosity about how fixed heads will fly. There is only one way to find out and its nice outside. Time to rock out with my block out.
