help w/yellow jacket

Hi a good friend of mine was in the states and I asked him to bring me back the yellow jacket target. I put the target at 25 yards and shot, well I guess the exomax has too much ummph because the bolt was buried with only 2 inches sticking out. So then I moved it to 35 yds and they stopped 1/2 inch short of the vanes. I also tried field points and broadheads but the difference was minimal. I also ruined a new Nap Spitfire head after 2 shots it had torn 2 blades right off and left them in the target. My question is does anyone else use this target with the max and broadheads ? Did you experience similar effects ? I think fixed blade is probably one solution but any other wisdom you might want to share would be appreciated. Thanks.
