Arrows

Post by LongCarbine »

I'm looking at buying some Executioners completed arrows .003 straightness . Right now my main arrows are G.T II's with 110 gr brass insert with as much twist I could get on 2" Blazers. I can hold 3 in. 40 yard groups all day with them, but I am running low on them after a few good hunting seasons :D . I know they are a little light for my 355 , that's why I want to go a little stiffer. I know there are better arrows than the Executioners but my wallet likes them at $ 68 a doz. complete. Any thoughts pro or con ?

The Executioners will be stiffer and I believe a better shaft for you 355. I would spend the extra money and buy some spine indexed BEE's and cut that 3" 40 yard group dramatically. But yes I think the BEE's are a step up.

Thanks , I have a spine checker so I can mark them pretty close. Ya the G.T's are a little thin. I got them for my Axiom a few years ago . Maybe I can shoot more than one deer per arrow with the BEE's

I shoot BEE 20" 110 gr insert .001 arrows out of my 355 and they shoot great! I killed 4 deer last year and all the arrows just zip on thru with no damage! I shoot the factory fletched ones from wyvern.

What weight target tips and broad heads you use?

Just curious. :)
