Matrix 310 ~ Its currently the only one I have

that way I can use it for hunting

....Jelly Belly was the only Excalibur I had prior to acquiring ....Bada Bing 8) out of the "Bigga Housa"....since ...Bada Bing 8) is perfect in so many ways and has been cooped up for so long it will be my constant companion this year....

....that is unless Excalibur comes out with an early release of "knuckles" which might just have to become part of "la famiglia!"

Well for me this past hunting season my first with a crossbow. I used a Excalibur Ibex. Which is a killing machine.. And filled my frezzer.. But this upcoming season i will be shooting a Matrix 380. And don't see any reason to ever need any thing else.. A 380 and the Ibex for back up. I will be done.......

I'll be hunting mainly with the Nightmare 335, but I have to hunt a few days with the Tenpoint Titan Extreme and my Excal Axiom. This will be my first year that I will not hunt with any firearm. I'm stricken with crossbowitisosis and I see no cure in sight. :)

Since 2010 I have used noting but my Vortex, that is until I got my Micro this Dec. Then I switched to it almost exclusively. So much easier to carry and to handle in a tree.

That might sway my desicions a bit, The Micro is going back together this afternoon. Once I wake it up from the nightmare it was having,,,,, It may prove to be the only thing I need,,,, but it will have to do a lot more than sit there and look pretty, those 380's have set pretty high standards, to work another bow into a starting role in my stable!!!

Wildcatter, I've seen what you can do with your 380 on another site. That was some good shooting. I will have a 380 in my stable in the future. Gotta love those recurves.

I take my fastest xbow which will also have on it the best optics. In my case: M405 with Optimizer/Duralyt2-8, lighted. Back up: M380/XB75.
Physical disabilities and/or a stand with limited shooting range could alter the above. Daytime only really favors a dedicated xbow scope, IMO . Being on a stand from before light and/or until dark favors a true low light scope.
