Cub Question

OK,,we know that the Cub and Grizzly are pretty much the same bow,,,difference in speed specs boil down to the string,,put a standard Matrix string on the Cub,,,your FPS is on par with a Grizz,,,but what if you put a Flemish string on the Cub,,,???do you gain anything????

It shoots 300fps from what I've read , I bet the Flemish would slow it down a little..There's a cub for sale for $415 on crossbow talk classifieds! Good deal from a great seller! My buddy just bought a 355 from him!
I'm going to try to shoot Sunday afternoon if you're around.

Yep,,been in contact with him,,I made him a fair offer I thought,,but he passed,,,Cub is the least desireable bow when comparted with the Grizzly,,330,or 310.As far as Sunday,,,let me know,,,I would like to meet up with ya and shoot!!!!

The cub also has a shorter lop than the grizzly, great for small shooters.

Ok let me re-state my question,,,,would a Flemish string give any increase in FPS over a standard Matrix string when fitted to the Cub

i don't believe, a flemish string seldom is used to gain speed, any change either way would not be noticeable, but it would make a smooth quiet shooter even more so.

I can tell you a factory endless loop string on a M355 is faster than Danny Millers flemish by about 3 or 4 fps. So I would guess it to be a bit faster on a cub, the factory blue string it comes with is a piece of________ . JMO!
