There is new crossbow bill #A11763 that seems to have a good chance of passing. There is a new assembly person who is taking control. As a member of both the majority & EnCon committee they have a advantage. We'll see. Alot of sportsmen in NY are hoping for this. It is for the disabled to use crossbows. I'll keep you updated.

it's a shame i got a crossbow handicap crossbow permit for illinios but i ca'nt get one in my own state. do you know when this bill came up. rich

This bill came up July 22nd 2004. The Rules committee is pushing it. I just found out about it yesterday when I received a email from Tommy Downey (NY Handicapped director for TNUSA). The Rules Committee is the strongest committee. This is the best news disabled hunters in NY have had on the subject. I still don't want to get my hopes up but this does look promising. The day it passes I will buy a Excalibur Exocet with all the accessories.
