Best Micro 335 Arrow Combination?

Post by WalknTall »

What have the guys/gals, with the Micro 335, found to be the best/most accurate arrow combination?

Was looking forward to Boofest this year but not gonna be able to make it!

Thanks in advance!

I have been shooting xx75 2219 aluminums out of mine most guys here are carbon arrow fans. The xx75s have always been good to me .you dont get that melting thing going on on the shaft like carbons from the target friction . They fly best with 150grains up front Or more. im not cheap with aluminum like i said never had a problem with em. I came up with a uniqe way of adding weight up front if you want to use a lighter head brass inserts are not available that properly fit them .ive had great flight with 175 gr. Slick tricks. .....175 field points come with them. ...ive never been an fps freak it dosnt kill more deer in p.a were 40 yards n under is normal shot

The BEE's .001 shafts I'm using are cut to 16 1/4" carbon to carbon end, 110 grain brass insert, 3 Blaxer vanes, Lumenock, and a 100 grain field point or 100 grain Ramcat shoot fantastic out to my max range in my back yard which is 50 yards. I cannot shoot more than one field pointed or broadhead arrow at the same dot at 50 yards without smashing the first arrow. My total completed arrow weighs in at 408 grains and shoots 317 fps though my chrono. I also dumped the red stock string for a Danny Miller flemish string. The flemish string seems to hold up better as does the center serving and besides they come in cool colors...lol

Hope this helps.

These arrows are Brass front and 125 gr. heads. Heavy helical and Lumenoks on back.

Thanks guys,

I have been using the BEE with Boltcutters for the last few years out of my Vortex, Matrix 330 and Matrix 380, but was looking at going with the FOC 170's. I guess if I went with a lighter insert that might work. Thoughts?

Wylie;
As of now I am doing 40% of arrows to match FOC Broadheads. They are very good.
