Re: trail camera pics :(
Wow! Aren't you allowed to shoot bears in Wisconsin? ...because that's a big bear. Look how small the ears appear and how low to the ground the belly is and how round it looks. I'd put that bear at no less than six feet. It's hard to tell if it's a boar or sow (for me) but in my experience the boars have blockier looking heads and the sows heads appear narrower like the one in the picture. Either way that's a shooter. As for the coyotes, hammer em. The deer will be back.

I think you are correct on the bear picture.. the other bear I think is a boar... taller but not as round.
and the bottom picture... you might want to look again

Those bottom 2 ain't no Yotes! Nice to see them but not nice for the wildlife in the area. Ever see them in person or know they were in the area before the pictures?

I would have to agree with the consensus on the bottom pic... looks like wolves to me too, seem way too big for yote's..

Yep. The other pic looks like a bear to me. Hard to get a good blow up. Pack some backup heat when you're hunting Ron!

Re: trail camera pics :(
You guys are correct - them are wolves.
The only deer on the cameras was 4 does, and only one has a fawn left
we knew they were around because we see their tracks all the time but this was the first time we got them on camera.... This is the first time I put a camera in that location.
The other camera (3'rd picture) is on the edge of a doe bedding area where the does have been and only 1 fawn is left -- what do you suppose that girl is looking for? We have had yote problems for several years but they don't do as much damage to the deer as yotes do.. and yotes are legal to shoot.
The wildlife population has gone down hill the last couple years. we knew why it was going down, just trying to figure out how to fix the problem......these excaliburs don't make much noise though. lol
The DNR has bucks only for the norther part of the state again this year because they say the past couple winters was too hard on the deer. but in all reality it is the wolves they introduced that is decimating the deer herd.
We had over 30 turkeys on our land a couple years ago and have not seen one this year.
we rarely see snowshoe rabbits any more.
and last year we only saw 3 yearling deer on camera.
( we have 200 acres of land and used to see lots of fawns and yearlings)
It is hard to get rid of the wolves when the DNR won't let you shoot them!
I won't use poison as my chocolate lab loves roaming the woods with me.

Re: trail camera pics :(
Wow! I had to blow up the image on my phone to see that. Those ain't no yotes. That's a game changer all right. Wolves are deadly efficient killers. Personally, I always try to be law abiding bu, in this case I'd cconsider the 3 S' s rule; shoot, shovel, and shut up. ....seriously!

Yes, bears are "yummy" - actually prefer bear meat over deer and moose.
In Southern Ontario Wolf and Coyote are open all year, no limits and are included in our small game licence (rabbits, upland birds etc).
That gives me a "hunting season" in between the big game season.
If you can legally hunt them where you are I would suggest you give it a try. It's a great way to hone not only your shooting skills, but also your concealment - I find them much more "spooky" than deer, so if you can fool Wylie Coyote, then Bambi is a piece of cake
(and for every "dog" you take out you save countless fawns, upland birds, bunnies etc)

Yes, bear are very good eating.
Haven't found any good use for the wolves yet, and these crossbows don't make as much noise as a rifle.
