One of my goals this hunting season

Post by Tar Heel »

I have a brother that got chemical poisoned in Saudia Arabia in the Gulf Wars in the early ninetys, he is disabled, we nearly lost him last year.
My goal this year is to get him a deer with Xbow. We shot my exomag
today and he was more excited then I've saw him in a long time.

I wish you success. Your brother deserves it. He served his country & paid the price. Please let him know his sacrifice was appreciated. Hope he gets to experience a pass through on a nice buck this yr.

Thanks guys for the support, I will get him to read this post. He is in bad
physical shape but he has a lot of heart, he can cock the bow with a crank.
I'll get him next week and let him shoot out of my blind. Season comes in here in September so we better get ready. He has already sent for his handicap xbow permit, already got a feeder up ( baiting is legal here) .
If all goes well a 18 yard shot and he will be a happy camper.

The best way to tell this story is to pull up this old post. My brother John
did not get anything with a xbow but he did with a gun. I will try to post pictures. Thats him on the right in the bear picture. He took both with a browning lever action 7mm-08. This is his first bear and the first deer since he got back from desert storm.

Congrats to you and your brother Tar Heel. Hunting does wonderful things to the soul, not to mention the deep freeze.

Where did he get his black bear?
