My torment (update) new 9-23

This boar has been showing up over the last few months
Have not got a lot of pics of him but he does leave his mark when he comes in
Have had him in range 4 times but no good shot
I do have a side arm but not willing to take a chance at not having the for sure shot
He is at 3 yards from camera here
Camera used is a security camera mother in law had

I kill all my big boars after midnight. Move your location around so they don't pattern you. Don't be afraid to dig a pit - shovel and a hole has worked wonders for me, just be prepared to let em have it a 5-6 ft up close is fun.

He and about 40 other hogs have started to show up again
So tonight good Lord willing Grizzly will draw it's first blood

That's a nice boar..We have a couple similar on our property. Sure looking forward at some chances to stick one this year. We leave them alone tell Oct and let them get nice and round. Except for two or three big boars that all they do is tear up feeders and eat.. Just might break out the 444 Marlin out fitter with some cor-bon heavy hitters.. Smile... I still do like the big boom and that thump... At least on a big nasty Hog... Yep save my arrows for bambi...

Wow, that's something. Hoping that the guy makes a full recovery. I guess the mystery is solved. The funny thing is that the reasons are not always as dastardly as we always assume.
