Love shooting my oldie but goldie Exomag

Post by DaveShooter »

Shot 2 Hrs yesterday with my Matrix 380 on District wildlife range.
Also shot my 200 lb Exomag today. I am so in Love with the way this Exomag shoots it isn't even funny. This bow loves the 2117 -20" arrows I made last year. I put the weighted pdp flat nocks and reg alum inserts with 100 grain Field point in these arrows. Along with the old cheap BSA single dot red dot. Good for a wood shot from 10 to 30 yds with no problems. Watch out Mr. Deer this coming season- That is if there is any Deer where I been a hunting

Every Excal I've owned and shot with good arrows have been very impressive with accuracy and fun to shoot. My brother has an Exocet that is a tack driver also.

I love my exo series bows.
exomag 200 and exocet 200.
I can swap out the risers and then shoot 175 lbs. and 225 lbs.
Plenty of kinetic energy for me from any version of the bow..

When I want a real change then I pull out the Paradox just for fun.
Still looks like new especially with new cables and string.

At my age, these bows will outlive me no doubt.

Got no plans on getting a Matrix model. My long limbers do just fine. Don't use them very often but when I do they are lined up ready to go.

Funny, your bow is what 3-4 yrs old...oldie but goodie, hmmm? Don't think of my Vortex in those terms yet. :D
Vortex, Phoenix, single-shot rifles and handguns.
Incurable tinkerer.

Still shooing my Exomax. I do find the Matrix and the Micro easier to aim do to lighter weight and being shorter. But the Exomax will likely out live me. Just hope that cocking it will be fine after I heal from hernia operation.

The funny thing is the longer Exo-series bows shoot better for me than the Matrix 380. I have had orginal 165 Exocet, 200 Exocet and Vortex, and Exomax.
They all shot out of this world for me Esp Exomax an my new found ole friend Exomag- Best to ya on your Healing up as I went through that surgery yrs ago- Couldn't keep me down period.... :D
