Dan touched many lives in the crossbow works and he will be sorely missed. He helped me when I first got started and I always looked forward to his posts. When someone like Dan passes it is the same as a library closing.

A very sad day for sure. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Friends all of you on the Forum, i & we have lost a great person n fellow member today. Dan aka Awshucks, he sometimes was very humorus n other times dry witted. He was good to a fault, we & i will miss him very much. I have been runnin tears down my face almost all day & i jus can't believe he has been taken from us. I have some pictures of him & many fond memorys of things we did, includin poppin the top on a few cold ones through the yrs. Yes i & we will have sorrow fer some days to come. The plus side of this was as our Dan passed from this World we call Earth the Angels in God's Heaven poured out joyful songs as another child of God had come home! Rest my Dear friend, as i knowed in the future i will also join you n we can again shoot our Excals up there n smile about it
