Stringing a micro/matrix with stringer

Post by Doe Master »

I said I would try and video the procedure I use .
At the start I stop because I was going to cock over the holddown spring . Even I do this once in a while . :)
Hope this helps at least one person .

Excellent video for those that are not sure how..

Ok a?

Where did you get the black rail, riser and stirrup???

That is the way the Micro nightmare should look from the factory!! ;)
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

O.K....I'm feeling dummer then a stick cause all I'm getting is "This page can't be displayed"...................O.K...ten minutes later....finally got it....that's exactly what I have been trying to do with my stringer but when I have it in place and try to cock it, pulling on the stringer, it feels like I'm pulling twice as hard and feels like the limbs aren't going to bend...significantly different then just a normal cocking.....can't figure it out.

I'm wondering if your stringer is to short. You shouldn't have to pull the limbs back very far to loosen the string enough to put twists in the string. My stringer string sits about five inches up the rail from the string.
