So for fun and practice I decided to refletch my excalibur arrows after tearing the fletching up on a target that was not strong enough for the M405. I did this with two different fletchings, Vantek and Blazer vanes. Thinking I would find a huge difference in the two. Well, Not so much. What I found was OOPS crap!
Don't ever aim at the same place twice regardless...
They're faster than the Black Eagle Executioners by 50fps. So they hit high on the target... I thought it was a flyer at first..
This is the aforementioned bad target (for the m405) and almost for the wifes 320 at 40 yards...
Looking at the picture with the arrows together has me a little concerned.....
It appears that the second arrow has been hit by another one and had damage to the nock?? Please don't shoot arrows with damaged nocks as this could be disastrous

Nice shooting indeed sir! Do keep an eye on your aluminum nocks if you're shooting groups though. Those little dings on your nocks can cut through servings or even strings. When I was shooting aluminum nocks and that happened I would file off the burr and sand it out until it was smooth and polished. I've seen stock aluminum nocks cut right through servings without even a ding in them, just sharp edges.

You're only paranoid if everyone isn't out to get you.

Yeah I had forgot about it, didn't mean to use it.

They are going back into the "lessons learned" pile. I'm going to be shooting BE executioners or zombies with plastic or lighted nocks from now on. I was wondering if / how much the flemish string had slowed my xbow. So I chucked the stock arra's down the road. 397 fps so a touch but now huge... The executioners are at 376 ish. Overall 50 fps slower than stock. But I think the FOC with the heavier arrow and the KE delivered will be sufficient. (caldwell chroni)
CrazyAce nice shootin fer sure. Yup you keep that up yer gonna need more funds fer more arrows. Ah the Mrs MXB320 great lil crossbows. I have one myself Banshee, be fine shootin lil rigs
Yeah I only had one arran to shoot from the Mrs. Because I had put hunting tips on the rest of hers. Glad all o had was the one.. or I would have 'hooded hers too.. it liked to put it on the same hole over and over..almost blew through the back of the target so changed poa and shook the bag.
