Decided to make sure my BH's (170gr NAP FOC's) were at least on the same page as my field points at 20yrds before I got to the range at the camp and figured I would set up the closest approximation to a critter that I had available, a watermelon...
After a few field points to make sure I hadn't lost my zero, I loaded up a broadhead, sat the big green 'deer heart' on it's stand and let one fly... Not sure if I pulled it a little, but I figure 1/2" off wasn't too bad... Nice 3" slice out the back, a good pressure split in the rind and buried the bolt about 5" into the blob target backer...
Feel a little more confident for the time being....
