Liked to messed up today.

Post by XcaliburFX »

I just got back in an hour or so ago, did 5 foods plots with my cousin today (the food plot master ... he's a landscaper and does great plots), only one was on my property though. I still have to add more lime to it couple hundred pounds, but it should do well. I also have to do my honey hole plot next to my hollow, probably 10 x 15-20ft. Throw and Gro X-Treme w/Radish in it. The only spot in my honey hole area that gets sunshine so it should do well as a mini plot.

Liked to messed bad today, attaching 16" disc harrows to the tractor, and got my big toe (left foot) hung under the harrow and fell backwards, pretty sure toe is cracked at the very least .. whole thing turning black nail and all. But, the best part was the cedar logs I fell backwards on, you know the ones with hundreds of small limbs cut off leaving 1-2" spikes all over it. Man my back (which was bad to begin with) is messed up now, not too mention the long gouges scraped into my jolly round self. LOL Hurts like a crap right now, but I will survive.

Geesh, you just never know what's going to happen next folks .... Be Careful Out There!

Yikes! Murphy paid you a visit. You're lucky you didn't puncture something important. Hope your foot and back heals fast for hunting season.

Hope you heal fast and don't miss any hunting time.
Them toes take longer to heal the older we get, and ain't much you can do with a broken toe other than limp through it.

You know Mike I was actually holding that set of harrows up pretty well with my big toe, until my cousin on the tractor passed gas. Needless to say, I suddenly became disoriented and fell backwards. Lesson learned from now on I am on the tractor. ;)

Well, I can pretty much assure you that both will feel better once they quit hurtin' :D

Seriously, hope you feel better soon. Some time in the deer woods will help that, I bet

I think the best thing you can do for that toe and back is to elevate the foot and rest the back,,, my suggestion to help both at the same time is elevate it a tree stand, and sit tight,,,, it take some time but it will heal anything,,,,,

Hope you get feel'n better soon,,,,,, and don't bother thank'n me for the cure,,,,,

Hey Vic,
Glad to hear things were not worse. Some tractor accidents don't end well.
Get well soon my friend. Thoughts and prayers.
I'd rather be shooting my Excalibur.
